The Location

How to find us

We are easily found being the first property on the left hand side when entering the village. It takes about an hour to get here from the Craignure Ferry Terminal. The bus service passes our door and a polite request to the bus driver will usually result in being dropped outside the house.

If travelling from the other end of the island allow plenty of time as much of our road network is on single track roads and so progress can be much slower than expected, particularly if using the routes through the west side of the island.

You can check out where we are on the interactive map.

Travel Information

When travelling public transport, bus and coach services are available from many Scottish cities and towns and a train service from Glasgow to Oban. Details can be obtained from such web sites as TravelineScotland.

Three ferry routes link Mull to the mainland. Most travellers arrive using the route from Oban to Craignure. However, you may wish to consider the alternative routes of Lochaline (Morvern) to Fishnish or Kilchoan (Ardnamurchan) to Tobermory depending on your travel plans. Details of times and costs can be obtained from the Calmac website.

There are service buses linking Craignure to Fionnphort and Tobermory and a service from Tobermory to Dervaig. Check Bowmans Tours and West Coast Motors website for up to date timetables.

If travelling out of season (October – March), check travel plans carefully as the frequency of many services can be substantially reduced at this time. Particularly on Sundays.
